- Rider Injured in Barrio Logan Motorcycle Accident on Harbor Drive
Barrio Logan, California (December 16, 2021) – A motorcyclist was seriously hurt when he was involved in a collision with a suspcted DUI driver in the Barrio Logan neighborhood on Wednessday evening.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the rider was operating a 2014 Aprila RSV4 on Harbor Drive when he crashed into a Nissan Versa that made a left turn onto the roadway from the curb.
The incident happened in the 2400 block of Harbor Drive at around 5 p.m. December 15.
Rider Hurt in Barrio Logan Motorcycle Accident
The rider, a 24-year-old man, was ejected by the impact of the collision.
He sustained a broken leg and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
The driver of the Nissan, a 41-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
