76-Year-Old Red Bluff Woman Killed in Red Bluff Crash on Interstate 5 near Wilcox Road

Red Bluff, California (December 18, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a Friday evening multi-vehicle accident that killed a 76-year-old woman from Red Bluff.
The deadly accident occurred at about 5 p.m., on December 17, on Interstate 5 near Wilcox Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2016 Jeep, driven by a 39-year-old Red Bluff man, was traveling on the roadway when it crashed into a 2002 Honda driven by a 76-year-old Red Bluff woman.
As a result of the crash impact, the Honda was reportedly pushed forward into a Ford, driven by a 31-year-old Red Bluff man. The crash caused a fire to ignite, and the fire covered a portion of the Honda.
The Honda then crashed into a 2016 Toyota driven by a 78-year-old man from Red Bluff.
Red Bluff Woman Killed in Crash on Interstate 5
Sadly, the 76-year-old woman from Red Bluff was pronounced dead at the scene. She had a 3-year-old passenger.
More details regarding the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
