Minor Injuries Sustained in Hercules Car Accident on 80 Freeway near Willow Avenue Off-Ramp
Hercules, California (December 19, 2021) – A Sunday morning multi-vehicle collision that happened on 80 Freeway in Hercules resulted in minor injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The pileup was reported at about 4:04 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of the freeway just west of the Willow Avenue off-ramp.
Five vehicles were involved in the accident, the report said.
Emergency crews responded to the scene to help an unknown number of parties who sustained minor injuries.
The wreck left all eastbound lanes of the freeway blocked for about two hours.
Authorities are investigating to establish the cause of the accident.
