One Killed in San Jose Crash on Highway 101 near Trimble Road
San Jose, California (December 19, 2021) – One person was killed in a traffic collision involving multiple vehicles early Sunday morning in San Jose, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The deadly multi-car wreck happened at around 1:31 a.m. on the northbound side of Highway 101, just north of Trimble Road near State Route 87.
CHP said at least five vehicles collided in the northbound lanes of the highway.
San Jose Multi-Car Crash Leaves 1 Dead
One person, whose name has not been disclosed pending family notification, died in the crash.
No other injuries were immediately reported.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
