One Suffers Major Injuries in Santa Barbara Crash on Highway 101 near Mission Street Off-Ramp
Santa Barbara, California (December 19, 2021) – One person was seriously injured in a car crash late Friday morning in Santa Barbara, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The major injury collision occurred at around 11:38 a.m. Friday, December 17, on southbound Highway 101 and Mission Street.
According to the CHP, a gray Honda collided with a green Honda Civic on the southbound side of the highway at the Mission Street exit.

Emergency responders took one person to a nearby hospital with major injuries. The name of the patient and their condition were not immediately disclosed.
Authorities blocked southbound Highway 101 at Mission Street while the investigation and cleanup took place.
