1 Seriously Injured in Sacramento County Crash on Interstate 5 at Twin Cities Road
Sacramento County, California (December 19, 2021) – One person sustained serious injuries following a two-vehicle collision that happened Friday afternoon in Sacramento County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The major injury crash happened at around 4:20 p.m. Friday, December 17, on the southbound side of Interstate 5 at the Twin Cities Road.
CHP said a gray Nissan Sentra collided with a black Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck in the southbound lanes of the interstate at the Twin Cities Road on-ramp.

One patient, whose name has not been disclosed, was transported to a local hospital with major injuries.
The southbound lanes of Interstate 5 were blocked at Twin Cities Road due to the incident.
The crash remains under investigation.
