At Least One Seriously Injured in Anaheim Crash on 5 Freeway near 91 Freeway
Anaheim, California (December 19, 2021) – At least one person sustained serious injuries following a two-vehicle crash that happened early Sunday morning on a freeway in Anaheim, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The major injury collision happened at around 2:35 a.m. Sunday, December 19, on the 5 Freeway, just south of the 91 Freeway.
According to the CHP, a dark-coloured Toyota 4Runne collided with another vehicle in the northbound lane of the freeway. The impact caused both vehicles to overturn.

Authorities said one patient, whose name has not been disclosed, was transported to an area hospital with major injuries. Their current condition was not available.
The northbound lanes of the 5 Freeway were closed due to the crash.
The collision remains under investigation.
