At Least One Seriously Hurt in East Los Angeles Motorcycle Accident at 3rd Street and Gage Avenue
East Los Angeles, California (December 20, 2021) – At least one person sustained serious injuries following a multi-vehicle collision that happened Sunday morning in East Los Angeles, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The major injury crash occurred at around 8:51 a.m. Sunday, December 19, at the intersection of 3rd Street and Gage Avenue near the 60 Freeway.
According to the CHP, a motorcycle, a Toyota Corolla, and a BMW collided at the intersection under unclear circumstances.
After the impact, one of the vehicles veered off the road and crashed into a light pole.
Major Injury Collision in East Los Angeles
Authorities said one patient was taken to a hospital with major injuries. The name of the victim and their current condition were not available.
The intersection of 3rd Street and Gage Avenue was blocked due to the incident.
