1 Injured in Car Accident on 880 Freeway near Interstate 80 in Oakland
Oakland, California (December 22, 2021) – One person was hospitalized after being injured in a car crash in Oakland on Tuesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Interstate 880 Freeway near Interstate 80 at about 11:46 a.m.
Two vehicles were recovered at the scene of the accident. The manner in which the accident happened, however, was not immediately established.
The CHP said at least one person was injured in the accident.
The severity of the injuries sustained by the victim was not provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
