Jason Navoy ID'd as Bicyclist Killed in Jurupa Valley Crash at Mission Boulevard and Tyrolite Street

Jurupa Valley, California (December 23, 2021) – The Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner's Bureau has identified the bicyclist who died after being struck by a vehicle Tuesday evening at an intersection in Jurupa Valley as Jason Navoy, 45.
The deadly bicycle accident happened at around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 21, at the intersection of Mission Boulevard and Tyrolite Street.
Authorities said Navoy, a resident of Jurupa Valley, was riding his bicycle eastbound on Mission Boulevard towards Tyrolite Street when he was hit by a small sedan that was also heading eastbound on Mission Boulevard.

Despite life-saving measures performed by medical personnel, Navoy did not survive his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene at 5:37 p.m.
The involved driver stopped at the scene and cooperated with the authorities. It is undetermined whether alcohol and/or drugs played a role in the collision.
