1 Hospitalized after Folsom Car Accident on Highway 50 near Prairie City Road Off-Ramp
Folsom, California (December 23, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a traffic collision that happened Tuesday morning in Folsom, sending one person to the hospital.
The accident was reported at about 10:34 a.m. on westbound Highway 50, just west of the Prairie City Road off-ramp.
A black Tesla and another car were involved in the accident. The Tesla overturned onto its roof in the crash.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and transported one person to US Davis Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident, which also left all the three westbound lanes of the highway closed for an unknown period.
