At Least 1 Hospitalized after Highway 101 Collision near Avila Beach Drive in Five Cities
San Luis Obispo County, California (December 24, 2021) – At least one person was injured Thursday morning in a traffic collision involving three vehicles in the Five Cities area, authorities said.
The three-car crash occurred at about 7:22 a.m. Thursday, December 23, on Highway 101 near Avila Beach Drive.
According to the authorities, three vehicles collided for unknown reasons on Highway 101.
Five Cities Three-Vehicle Crash
At least one patient was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
The northbound lanes were closed during the investigation but were later reopened back to traffic.
No further details about the crash were immediately provided.
The accident remains under investigation.
