Valentin Uribe Arrested after Fresno Car Accident on Shaw and El Capitan Avenues
Fresno, California (December 25, 2021) – Valentin Uribe, 32, was arrested on suspicion of DUI following a crash that injured a Fresno police officer on Thursday night in Fresno, according to the authorities.
Uribe crashed into the rear of a police vehicle that was stopped blocking a southbound lane of Shaw Avenue due to a pothole.
The crash happened shortly before 9 p.m. December 23, near El Capitan Avenue.
The police officer was taken to Community Regional Medical Center after complaining of pain.

Authorities arrested Uribe on suspicion of DUI and driving with a suspended license. He reportedly had a prior DUI conviction.
