1 Injured in Oakland Car Crash on Interstate 580 near 35th Avenue
Oakland, California (December 27, 2021) – One person was hospitalized Friday morning after a crash involving two vehicles in Oakland, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The two-vehicle collision occurred at around 8:23 a.m. Friday, December 24, on Interstate 580, just west of 35th Avenue.
CHP said a tan coloured SUV collided with a white sedan on the eastbound side of the interstate.
Oakland 2-Vehicle Collision Sends 1 To Hospital
One person complained of pain in their back and neck after the crash. The patient was then taken by responding paramedics to the Highland Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The eastbound lanes of Interstate 580 near 35th Avenue were closed while the investigation took place.
