At Least 1 Killed in Stockton Big Rig Crash on Highway 4 at Jack Tone Road
Stockton, California (December 28, 2021) – At least one person died in a traffic collision involving a big rig that took place Monday afternoon in Stockton, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck occurred just before 4 p.m. on Highway 4 at Jack Tone Road.
As per the CHP report, a big rig with a single trailer collided with a white Hyundai Sonata under unclear circumstances. The big rig jackknifed in the crash.
The report said at least one person was killed in the accident.
The intersection remained blocked following the crash, and firefighters were directing traffic.
Authorities are investigating to establish the cause of the collision.
