Minor Injuries Suffered in San Matteo Crash on Highway 101 at Hillsdale Boulevard
San Mateo, California (December 28, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a multi-vehicle collision that took place Monday afternoon in San Mateo.
According to the California Highway Patrol, six vehicles collided at about 2:31 p.m. on northbound Highway 101 at Hillsdale Boulevard.
A party reporting the accident told authorities that multiple vehicles collided, blocking the roadway.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene to help the motorists.
An unknown number of parties who sustained minor injuries were offered medical aid by the paramedics.
All northbound lanes of the highway remained blocked following the accident.
CHP will establish the cause of the collision when they conclude their investigation.
