Laurie Gentz Among 4 Killed in El Cajon Plane Crash on Pepper Drive

El Cajon, California (December 29, 2021) – Laurie Gentz was among four people who died in a plane crash in El Cajon on Monday evening, according to a local news source.
The wreck happened in the unincorporated Bostonia neighborhood near Pepper Drive and North Mollison at around 7:15 p.m. December 27.
According to the report, a Learjet 35A business jet left the John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana and was headed to Gillespie Field airport when it crashed.
The plane reportedly clipped power lines and crashed, before bursting into flames.

Authorities responded to the incident and pronounced four people dead at the scene.
Gentz, a nurse, was among two nurses who died in the crash along with two pilots.
No one on the ground was hurt or killed in the incident.
The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the incident.
