Authorities Investigating North Highlands Car Crash on Larchmont Drive and Elkhorn Boulevard
North Highlands, California (December 30, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a serious injury car crash that happened early Thursday morning at an intersection in North Highlands.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident occurred at around 12:35 a.m. on Larchmont Drive and Elkhorn Boulevard.
A white Honda Civic and a white pickup truck were involved in the collision.
The report said kids were involved in the accident but did not give more details.
Emergency crews responding to the scene said major injuries were sustained in the crash. The number of patients was, however, not mentioned.
Both vehicles were towed away with crash damage.
The intersection remained blocked for an unknown period following the accident.
