Jacque Ensign Injured in Berkeley Accident on Marin and Shattuck Avenues

Berkeley, California (December 30, 2021) – Jacque Ensign, 90, was seriously injured in an auto-pedestrian crash that happened on December 10 in Berkeley, according to the authorities.
The collision occurred on Marin and Shattuck avenues at around 3:45 p.m.
Authorities said Ensign was in the crosswalk trying to cross Marin Avenue when she was struck by a Volvo Wagon.

Ensign was transported to a hospital with serious injuries.
The driver, a 49-year-old Berkeley woman, remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
