Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Ocotillo Wells Crash on Highway 78
Ocotillo Wells, California (December 30, 2021) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a Wednesday afternoon big rig accident in Ocotillo Wells, authorities said.
The major injury accident happened at about 12:30 p.m., on December 29, at 5841 state Route 78.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the motorcyclist was struck by a big rig on the highway for undetermined reasons.
Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Highway 78 Crash
The motorcyclist was seriously injured in the accident and was flown to a hospital for treatment.
Traffic on the roadway was stopped for an unknown period due to the mishap.
The crash remains under investigation.
