1 Seriously Injured in San Diego Car Crash on Interstate 5 near La Jolla Parkway
San Diego, California (December 30, 2021) – At least one person sustained serious injuries following a traffic collision that happened early Wednesday morning in San Diego, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The major injury crash happened at around 12:16 a.m. Wednesday, December 29, on Interstate 5 near La Jolla Parkway.
According to the CHP, two sedans collided on the interstate under unclear circumstances.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene and found one person with major injuries. The patient was then taken to a hospital for treatment.
A section of the Interstate 5 near La Jolla Parkway was blocked due to the incident.
