At Least One Person Seriously Injured in Goleta Crash on Highway 101 near Gaviota Rest Area
Goleta, California (December 31, 2021) – At least one person was seriously injured Thursday morning in a traffic crash in Goleta, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The major injury collision was reported just after 7:40 a.m. Thursday, December 30, on Highway 101 near Gaviota Rest Area.
According to the CHP, a black Chevrolet sedan and a Caltrans trailer collided on Highway 101.
The truck was parked on the highway's right shoulder at the time of the accident. The sedan sustained major damage in the crash.
