Teen, Mother Killed in Norwalk Car Crash at Foster Road and Studebaker Road

Norwalk, California (January 3, 2022) – A teenage girl and a woman died in a Sunday morning car crash that happened at an intersection in Norwalk, as per a local news source.
The wreck was reported at about 10:40 a.m. at Foster Road and Studebaker Road.
Responding officers found four vehicles involved in the accident.
A preliminary investigation revealed that a woman was speeding when she struck two cars, including one that was occupied by a 13-year-old girl and another woman. A fourth vehicle was also involved in the accident.
The teenager and the woman were hospitalized with critical injuries. Authorities said the girl died in the hospital. The woman, who was identified as the girl's mother, also later died.
A third person in a different vehicle was also hospitalized in critical condition.
Meanwhile, police arrested the female driver who was speeding when the crash happened.
The collision forced the closure of the intersection for several hours.
