Shannon and Ashley Alvarez ID'd as Parties Killed in Norwalk Car Crash at Foster Road and Studebaker Road
Norwalk, California (January 3, 2022) – Shannon and Ashley Alvarez have been identified as the two parties who were killed in a Sunday morning car crash that happened at an intersection in Norwalk, as per a local news source.
The wreck was reported at about 10:40 a.m. at Foster Road and Studebaker Road.
Responding officers found four vehicles involved in the accident.
A preliminary investigation revealed that a woman was speeding when she struck two cars, including one that Shannon and Ashley Alvarez occupied. A fourth vehicle was also involved in the accident.
Shannon and Ashley Alvarez were hospitalized with critical injuries. Authorities said the two died at the hospital.
Meanwhile, police arrested the female driver who was speeding when the crash happened.
The collision forced the closure of the intersection for several hours.
