1 Injured in Car Accident on 80 Freeway near Gilman Street in Oakland
Oakland, California (January 4, 2022) – One person was hospitalized after being injured in a multi-vehicle collision in Oakland on Monday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Interstate 80 Freeway near Gilman Street at about 6:15 p.m.
The officers who responded to the incident recovered four vehicles at the scene of the accident.
The events leading up to the accident, however, were to be established.
As per the CHP incident logs, at least one person was injured in the accident and was transported to the hospital in unknown condition.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
