Motorcyclist Injured in Santa Cruz County Crash on Zayante Road and Sylvan Way
Santa Cruz County, California (January 4, 2022) – A motorcyclist was injured in a collision with a car in Santa Cruz County on Sunday morning, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The crash happened at around 9:11 a.m. on January 2 in the area of Zayante Road and Sylvan Way.
According to the CHP, a Harley Davidson motorcycle collided with a silver Toyota Prius at the intersection of East Zayante Road and Sylvan Way.
As a result of the crash, the Prius acquired moderate front-end damage.
Motorcycle Collision in Santa Cruz County
The motorcyclist sustained minor injuries and was transported to the Santa Clara Valley Medical Center. The identity of the victim and their condition were not immediately disclosed.
The intersection of Zayante Road and Sylvan Way was blocked following the crash.
The accident remains under investigation.
