Murriel Kelly Injured in Sonora Collision on Highway 108 and Mono Vista Road
Sonora, California (January 5, 2022) – Murriel Jaynz Kelly, 71, of Soulsbyville was injured in a traffic collision on Highway 108 in Sonora on Monday afternoon, the California Highway Patrol said.
At around 2 p.m. January 3, Alexander Mendenhall, 33, of Sonora was driving a 2015 Ford Mustang east on Highway 108 at a high rate of speed when he collided with a 2016 Subaru Outback that was making a turn onto the highway from Mono Vista Road.

Kelly was the driver of the Subaru and sustained minor injuries.
Mendenhall was not injured in the collision.
CHP said alcohol and drugs were not suspected to be factors in the collision.
The incident is under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
