2 Injured in Indio Motorcycle Accident at Jefferson Street and Miles Avenue
Indio, California (January 5, 2022) – Two people were injured in a motorcycle accident at an intersection in Indio on Tuesday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at the intersection of Jefferson Street and Miles Avenue at about 5:15 p.m., January 4.
A car and a motorcycle are reported to have collided on the roadway in unclear circumstances.
The two vehicles stopped after the crash and a third vehicle struck the motorcycle. The third vehicle fled the scene after the collision.
Motorcyclist in Critical Condition after Crash at Jefferson and Miles in Indio
The motorcyclist was hospitalized in critical condition.
A second person was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
The suspect vehicle is believed to be a dark grey pick-up truck, possibly full size and was last spotted traveling northbound on Jefferson Street.
