1 Seriously Injured in Carpinteria Motorcycle Accident on Highway 192 (Foothill Road) near Cravens Lane
Carpinteria, California (January 5, 2021) – One person sustained serious injuries following a traffic crash involving two motorcycles in Carpinteria on Tuesday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The major injury collision was reported at around 12:12 p.m. on January 4 on Highway 192 near Cravens Lane. Highway 192 is also known as Foothill Road.
CHP said a vehicle and two motorcycles and collided on the highway.
Motorcycle Collision in Carpinteria
One patient was transported to a hospital with major injuries. The name of the victim and their condition were not immediately available.
The northbound lanes of Highway 192 were temporarily blocked due to the crash.
The accident remains under investigation.
