Teen Cyclist Killed in San Jacinto Bicycle Accident on Bryce Canyon Way

San Jacinto, California (January 5, 2021) – A juvenile bicyclist died after being struck by a vehicle Wednesday morning in San Jacinto, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
The deadly crash happened at around 11:30 a.m. in the 400 block of Bryce Canyon Way.
Authorities said the juvenile was riding his bicycle on Bryce Canyon Way when he was hit by a westbound 3500 Dodge truck hauling a utility trailer.
Wednesday Crash Leaves Juvenile Bicyclist Dead
The juvenile was pronounced dead at the scene. His name was being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The driver and sole of the truck did not suffer any injuries in the collision and stopped at the scene to cooperate with the authorities.
Police closed Bryce Canyon Way as they conducted an investigation. Alcohol or drugs were not considered a factor in the collision.
