1 Seriously Hurt in Sacramento Bus Crash on Interstate 5 Freeway and J Street
Sacramento, California (January 7, 2022) – One person was severely hurt in a collision involving a bus in Sacramento on Thursday evening, according to a report by the California HIghway Patrol.
The incident happened just before 5:17 p.m. on the Interstate 5 Freeway at the J Street off ramp.
CHP said a bus, a Kia, and a truck were believed to have collided on the southbound side of the freeway.

One person sustained major injuries and was taken to UC Davis Medical Center for treatment.
The crash led to the closure of the southbound Interstate 5 Freeway as authorities investigated the incident.
