At Least 1 Seriously Injured in Fairfield Crash on 80 Freeway near 680 Freeway
Fairfield, California (January 8, 2022) – At least one person sustained major injuries in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Friday night in Fairfield, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The crash took place at about 10:35 p.m. on eastbound 80 Freeway, just west of 680 Freeway.
The CHP report said four vehicles were involved in the crash.
As per the report, four motorcycles were down and three of them needed to be towed away. An Acura and a Mustang at the scene also needed to be removed from the scene by tow trucks. The report did not specify which vehicles were involved in the accident.
The crash left at least one person with major injuries. An ambulance was dispatched to the scene to take the patient to the hospital.
Officers are investigating the cause of the wreck.
