Man Killed, Ronnie Henley Injured in Head-On Collision on Highway 108 near La Grange Road in Sonora
Sonora, California (January 9, 2022) – A 36-year-old Modesto man was killed in a head-on collision that occurred on Saturday evening in Jamestown, Tuolumne County.
The deadly collision was reported at about 5:31 p.m. on Highway 108 near La Grange Road, according to Sonora Area CHP.
The man was driving a Hyundai sedan westbound on the highway and was attempting to pass a Subaru driven by Chunli Yao of Pleasanton when he collided head-on with an oncoming pickup truck driven by Ronnie Henley of Waterford.
Modesto Man Killed in Crash on Highway 108 near J-59 in Sonora
The unidentified Modesto man was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
Henley sustained serious injuries and was transported to Doctors Medical Center for treatment.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
