29-Year-Old Man Hospitalized after Nestor Crash on Palm Avenue near Saturn Boulevard
Nestor, California (January 9, 2022) – A man was seriously injured after he rear-ended a semi-truck Saturday evening in the South Bay neighborhood of Nestor, according to San Diego police.
The major injury collision was reported at around 7:49 p.m. Saturday, January 8 on Palm Avenue near Saturn Boulevard.
Police said a 29-year-old man was driving a Nissan Altima on Palm Avenue when he slammed into the back of a fuel tanker parked at a red light.
Car, Truck Accident in Nestor
The driver of the Nissan Altima was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. His name and current condition remained unknown.
The operator of the semi-truck did not suffer any injuries in the collision.
No other details were given.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
