Paul King Among 2 Motorcyclists Killed in Fresno County Accident on Auberry Road

Fresno County, California (January 8, 2022) – Paul King, 54, of Clovis was one of two motorcyclists who died in a multi-vehicle accident in Fresno County on Saturday evening, according to the authorities.
The crash was reported at around 4:30 p.m. January 7, on Auberry Road, just southwest of Fresno Rifle & Pistol Club.
According to CHP, King and his son were riding motorcycles southbound on Auberry Road when they tried to pass a truck and crossed into the northbound side.
One of them collided with the roadway surface and was ejected onto the roadway. The rider was struck by an oncoming SUV, which also collided with the second motorcyclist.
Paul King Killed in Fresno County Crash
CHP said the second rider was ejected by the impact of the crash.
King and the other motorcyclist, identified as Forrest King, 25, of Clovis, were killed in the collision.
The SUV also drifted to the left and collided with a southbound Ford pickup truck.
The driver of the SUV was transported to a hospital with moderate injuries.
It's unclear whether alcohol or drugs played any role in the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
