1 Killed in Interstate 15 Crash near Miramar Way in Scripps Ranch
San Diego, California (January 9, 2022) – A multi-vehicle collision has claimed the life of a person in the Scripps Ranch area late Sunday afternoon, the California Highway Patrol said.
The deadly crash occurred at around 5:10 p.m. on Interstate 15 near Miramar Way.
According to the CHP, several vehicles collided in the northbound lanes of the freeway near Miramar Way.

One person, whose name was being withheld pending family notification, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The northbound lanes of Interstate 15 near Miramar Way were littered with debris from the collision.
