1 Killed in Car Accident on Interstate 5 near 8 Freeway Connector in San Diego
San Diego, California (January 10, 2022) – At least one person was killed in a traffic collision on Sunday evening near Old Town in San Diego.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal crash happened on northbound Interstate 5 Freeway near the 8 Freeway connector at about 7:10 p.m., January 9.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision. One of the vehicles was reportedly traveling the wrong way prior to the collision.
The authorities said one person was killed in the accident.
The identity of the deceased was not immediately established.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
