Man Hospitalized after Fallbrook Car Crash on E. Mission Road near Via Zancas
Fallbrook, California (January 10, 2022) – A man was injured in a head-on collision in Fallbrook on Monday evening, according to the North County Fire Protection District.
The incident happened on E. Mission Road near Via Zancas just before 5:34 p.m.
Authorities said a Sprinter van and a sedan collided on E. Mission Road for unknown reasons.
The van reportedly caught fire following the crash.
Fire crews responded to the scene and were able to quickly contain the fire.
Man Seriously Injured in Fallbrook Car Collision
An adult male was extricated from the sedan. He sustained life-threatening injuries in the accident and was transported to Palomar Hospital for treatment.
The authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
