Minor Injuries Suffered in Hercules Car Crash on 80 Freeway near Highway 4
Hercules, California (January 11, 2022) – Minor injuries were sustained in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Tuesday morning in Hercules, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The pileup took place at about 5:25 a.m. on westbound 80 Freeway, just west of Highway 4.
Four vehicles were involved in the accident, including two that got stuck together, trapping occupants.
Firefighters responded to the scene to help the victims.
An ambulance was dispatched to the scene to offer medical aid to an unknown number of parties who suffered minor injuries.
Some traffic lanes remained closed as investigators worked the scene.
