4 Injured in Car Accident at Highway 168 and Shaw Avenue in Fresno
Fresno, California (January 13, 2022) – At least four people were injured after a pursuit ended in a crash in Fresno on Thursday morning.
The 2:30 a.m. collision happened in the area of Highway 168 and Shaw Avenue, according to California Highway Patrol.
The authorities said the driver of a black SUV tried to evade the police and exited the highway at McKinley and started to take surface streets.
A short time later, the suspect hit a car at a high rate of speed causing the SUV to lose control a take out a fence and business sign.
The SUV driver and a passenger suffered minor injuries. They were later taken into custody.
Two occupants of the second car sustained minor injuries.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
