Guadalupe Jimenez ID'd as Woman Killed in Sacramento Pedestrian Crash at 60th Street and Folsom Boulevard
Sacramento, California (January 15, 2022) – The woman who was killed in a traffic collision near Phoebe Hearst Elementary School in East Sacramento on Thursday afternoon has been identified as Guadalupe Jimenez, 45, of Sacramento, according to the coroner's office.
The deadly accident took place in the area of 60th Street and Folsom Boulevard just before 1:30 p.m. January 13.
Jumenez was reportedly picking up her kids from the school when she was struck during a two-vehicle crash as she attempted to cross the intersection.

Jimenez died in the collision.
It's unclear whether anyone else was injured.
The intersection was closed for hours as crews worked at the scene.
The cause of the collision is now under investigation.
