1 Killed in Long Beach Car Crash on 710 Freeway near W Del Amo Boulevard Off-Ramp
Long Beach, California (January 15, 2022) – One person was killed when two vehicles collided Saturday morning on 710 Freeway in Long Beach, the California Highway Patrol said.
Authorities were informed about the crash at around 10:22 a.m. in the northbound lanes just south of the W Del Amo Boulevard off-ramp.
A Ford F-350 truck pulling a trailer collided with a Nissan Sentra under unclear circumstances.
The female driver of the Nissan was unresponsive and was taken out of the vehicle with difficulties breathing.
CHP said one person died in the crash, and a coroner representative was requested to respond to the scene.
The Nos. 4 and 5 lanes remained closed for about 2 hours following the accident.
CHP is investigating the collision.
