1 Killed in Hawthorne Motorcycle Crash on 405 Freeway near El Segundo Boulevard
South Bay, California (January 16, 2022) – One person died and another was injured in a motorcycle accident on Sunday morning in Hawthorne, Los Angeles.
The deadly collision happened on the northbound San Diego (405) Freeway near El Segundo Boulevard at about 11 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
Two people were riding a motorcycle on the I-405 when they rear-ended a car in unclear circumstances.
One person was killed in the accident.
Paramedics transported another rider to the hospital for treatment.
