1 Injured in Car Accident on Highway 165 near Highway 140 in Merced
Merced, California (January 17, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a major injury traffic collision that occurred on Monday evening in Merced.
The 4:40 p.m. wreck occurred on Highway 165 near Highway 140, according to a CHP report.
A pickup truck and a sedan were involved in the crash. The events leading up to the accident, however, were not immediately established.
Officials say at least one person was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
