1 Suffers Minor Injuries in San Jose Car Crash on Interstate 280 near McLaughlin Avenue Off-Ramp
San Jose, California (January 17, 2022) – One person was hurt in a two-vehicle collision that happened Monday evening on Interstate 280 in San Jose, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Emergency crews were dispatched to the southbound side of the freeway near the McLaughlin Avenue off-ramp after reports of the crash were received at around 6:26 p.m.
A red Honda Accord collided with a silver sedan under unclear circumstances. The silver sedan went about 20 feet off the roadway and down an embankment.
One person sustained minor injuries in the accident. An ambulance was sent to the scene to provide medical aid. It was not clear if the victim was hospitalized.
CHP is investigating the accident.
