1 Injured in Motorcycle Crash on 580 Freeway near MacArthur Boulevard
Oakland, California (January 18, 2022) – One person was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident that occurred on Tuesday morning in Oakland.
The collision happened on westbound 580 Freeway near MacArthur Boulevard at about 8:42 a.m.
California Highway Patrol said a motorcycle and a Volkswagen Golf collided on the freeway in unclear circumstances.
The rider was found down on the freeway by the first responders.
The unidentified motorcyclist was transported to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
