, California (January 18, 2022) – The man who died Sunday afternoon after a police pursuit ended in a traffic collision at a Stockton intersection has been identified as Regineld Hill, 37, of Stockton.

The incident started at around 10 a.m. on January 16 when County Sheriff's deputies were pursuing a driver wanted on a felony charge out of County.

A Stockton police officer also joined the chase after seeing the suspect driving erratically on Charter Way.

Soon after, the suspect collided with Hill's vehicle at Martin Luther King Boulevard and Street.

Victim Killed in Stockton 2-Vehicle Crash Identified, 15-Year-Old Arrested

Hill died following the collision.

The suspect, a 15-year-old, was taken to hospital for treatment and later booked into the Juvenile Hall on charges of vehicular manslaughter.

The identities of the deceased victim and the teenage driver were not immediately released.
