Cyclist Hospitalized after Fresno Bicycle Accident at East Shaw Avenue and North Blackstone Avenue
Fresno, California (January 18, 2022) – A bicyclist was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle early Tuesday morning at an intersection in Fresno, according to Fresno police.
The crash happened just after 6:00 a.m. in the area of Shaw Avenue and Blackstone Avenue.
Police said a vehicle hit the bicyclist on the eastbound side of East Shaw Avenue, just east of North Blackstone Avenue.
Bicyclist Injured in Fresno Collision
The cyclist sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital. The name of the rider and their current condition were not immediately provided.
The crash remains under investigation.
