Minor Injuries Sustained in Manteca Car Accident on Highway 99 near Austin Road
Manteca, California (January 19, 2022) – Two vehicles collided Tuesday morning on a highway in Manteca, resulting in minor injuries.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the wreck was reported at around 11:28 a.m. on southbound Highway 99, just south of Austin Road.
A party involved in the crash called authorities reporting that they were attempting to avoid another car that was either swerving or changing lanes when the accident occurred. One of the vehicles went off the roadway and damaged about 60 feet of chain-link fence.
Paramedics responding to the scene said minor injuries were sustained in the accident.
No other details were given, but CHP is investigating.
