1 Injured in Dos Palos Crash on Highway 33 near Merrill Avenue
Dos Palos, California (January 19, 2022) – One person was injured following a Tuesday evening traffic collision in Dos Palos, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at around 5:36 p.m. Tuesday, January 18, on Highway 33, half a mile just south of Merrill Avenue.
CHP said a delivery vehicle and another vehicle possibly collided head-on on Highway 33 under unclear circumstances. Both cars veered off the road, flipped over, and came to rest on their sides.

One person complained of pain after the crash. The patient was then taken to the Memorial Hospital Los Banos with minor injuries.
A stretch of Highway 33 near Merrill Avenue was temporarily blocked due to the incident.
The crash remains under investigation.
